WIN $750 giftcard code to Gattaca One World!

I was just flipping through my Shape and noticed I received a magazine with a $750 gift card to Gattaca One World! I had no idea what it was so I went on their website and found it is full of trendy sunglasses for men and woman including readers and watches as well! It is legit as I tried it out already but you have to pay shipping and the glasses I wanted were $100 originally but I would only pay $12! Thats crazy! The shipping adds up the more pairs you get but it still seems like a great deal! I am low on money at the moment and don't need sunglasses so why not give the code away to you guys :) First to comment with their email address can WIN the $750 gift card promo code :))

First Impression: BeautyBlender

First Impression: Beauty Blender

Hey girlies:) Above is a video of me using the BeautyBlender for the first time and my thoughts on it while I use it. I received this   and the cleanser in my May PopSugar Must Have box

BeautyBlenders are special makeup sponge like devices that you dampen before use. You then dip your foundation in it and dab it on the face. It takes a bit longer but in the end you have a dewy airbrushed glow that lasted me all day! The thumbnail picture and the one one I will include above is AFTER I used it and washed it and you couldn't even tell I used it! It was like brand new so I really like the cleanser and since you can also use it on makeup brushes I will definitely be trying it out for that.
The set retails for $34.95 and can be found through the link below.

May PopSugar MustHave Box Opening!

May PopSugar MustHave Box Opening!

Hey Guys! Above is the video of my opening and below is the list of products I received and the prices if I could find them. At the end I will post a link to PopSugar and a total of how much the box is worth.

PopSugar MustHave is a Box that comes once a month and is $34.99. You are guaranteed over $100 worth of products each month and they are full sized and range from beauty, to fashion, to fitness and food.

Retail: $27.99
This hat is such a cute sunhat! Mine is in a charcoal gray color and has a brim that moves to adjust so the sun never gets to your face or neck. It is also really durable and made to be able to squish into tight spaces in a bag. It also has up to 50 SPF protection! It is available in 3 colors through the link above.

Retail: $24.38
This was the perfect thing for me because I just turned 21! This kit has 5 different flavors to choose from which include watermelon, original, blood orange, mango, and strawberry! It also comes with a pack of crystals to rim your glasses. I am so excited to make these with friends and sip them by my pool! Get them by clicking the link above!

Retail: 14.95
This is a cute deck of topic cards that have interesting and funny topics to help spark conversations with friends while reading the comments from comedian and actress Mindy Kaling. The cards are adorable and floral printed and can be purchased through the link above.

Retail: $34.95
You just got your boxes worth with these two products! I was super excited when I saw this in the box because I have been wanting to get one forever! I was going to settle for a knockoff since I didn't want to pay the retail price but I am glad I get to try the real thing! The cleanser is lightly scented with lavender and can also be used to wash brushes! Get yours at the link above.

Retail: $7
This is a tinted lip balm and the color I got was Guava Berry. It is a sheer raspberry color and smells delicious. I wanted to layer this under my gloss I got from Juice Beauty but I must say it is VERY DRYING! It is pretty so I think if I wear it I will have to put some Nivea Lip Butter on First and then this so my lips do not dry out. Get yours through the link above! Many different flavors to choose from!

Retail: $30
I was happy to see this gift card for $30 in my box until I saw the prices on the actually website. The pieces are well over $30 and since I work in Claire's and am surrounded by pretty jewelry at a cheap price I don't think I will be using this anytime soon. It doesn't expire until the end of the year so maybe I will hold on to it and hopefully find something on the clearance rack. Check out the website through the link above.

Retail: $3.49
I received the sweet Chili Tortilla Chips but gave them to my boyfriend as I am not a real big fan of spicy things. They are all natural and Gluten free so I am sure he thought they were yummy! Get yours through the link above.

Overall this box was AMAZING!! This was only my second box but since I was so disappointed with April's box I am glad they didn't disappoint again. The total retail value for this box is around: $146.76

May Ipsy Bag Opening!

May Ipsy Bag Opening!

Today I am going to show you guys the products I received in my May Ipsy Bag! This bag came with 5 products, 4 were full sized. I also got a bonus full sized item from Urban Decay. In the video I say I got it because of referring people but I actually got it because I am an active Ipsy Community Member :) I will post at the end what my guess is on how much the bag is worth.

The bag this month was a really cute Chevron pattern of turquoise and tangerine and the theme was Spring Fling. Inside the bag were 3 cards. My first card had the theme which was Spring Fling, another card had a coupon code for $110 off Nume hair hair which I probably won't use and the last was telling me about my bonus Urban Decay item!

Here is the bonus item I got from Urban Decay. It is a full sized Moondust Eyeshadow in the color Zodiac. Zodiac is a beautiful charcoal gray green with 3D shimmer that can be intensified with water! This retails for $20 and is so gorgeous!

Now on to the normal items. You were able to receive many different combinations of 12 items based on you answers to the Beauty Quiz you filled out when joining so this was a cool custom bag!

The first item I pulled out was a Yaby Concealer in the color Buff. In the March Ipsy Bag I received 2 Yaby eye shadows and a Glam RX pallet which had a metal base these little pots could stick to. I am in different to the eye shadows so I hope this concealer works well as I would like to use it under my eyes. This is a full sized concealer and retails for $5.06.
You can buy the Yaby concealer through the link below and use the code ipsyluvsyabycc20 for 20% off!
 Yaby

Next up was a full sized Zoya nail polish in the color BLU! This is a beautiful baby blue polish that I am excited to try out. I have never owned a Zoya polish but have heard great things. I am glad I got a pretty color because the last 2 polishes from Ipsy have been dull nude colors that I would never wear. This color is a perfect transition color from Spring to Summer. This retails for $8. You can buy this and other Zoya nail polishes through the link below and use the code ipsyz to get $5 shipping and Buy 2 nail polishes get 1 free with free 1 oz remover which sounds like a great deal!

The next item I received was a full sized Juice Beauty Lip gloss in Pink. I don't normally wear lip glosses because they are usually too sticky but this one is so smooth and glossy I can totally see myself rocking it. It also smells AMAZING and fruity. The color is a light raspberry and has a really reflective pigment. These lip glosses are sold in packs of 4 for $48 so one of these would be about $12. You can get the 4 pack through the link below and use the code ipsy20 to get 20% off a purchase of $30 or more!

Next is a Hair Oil Treatment from Macadamia Hair. This is a full sized travel size of 1 fl oz but this is a big enough size to be able to try out a few times to see if it works. The smell is ok and the oil is thick and goes on smoothly. This stuff is supposed to be all natural and really healthy for hair so I am going to be using it on frizzy hair days as it can be used on damp or dry hair. This retails for $13.50! Use the link below to purchase your full sized hair oil and use the code ipsy30 to receive 30% off!

The final item in my Ipsy Bag is a sample size of the St. Tropez One Night Only Instant Glow Lotion. This smells like self tanner which is a bit annoying but oh well. This is supposed to offer you a deep glow that mimics a summer tan. I am going to mix it with my regular lotion to try it out so I don't over do it on the first try. The full sized of this product is $18 and you can get 20% off with the code ipsy20 through the link below.

Overall I think this bag is amazing!  I rate it an A-! I like how Ipsy Customized them to each person so I hope they do more things like this in the future. I also like how we got a mixture of items such as body, hair, and makeup. Ipsy is $10 a month and the retail for all the full sized products I received in this bag including the extra item was about $58.56 which is a steal at $10! I hope Ipsy keeps on with bags like this and you can sign up with Ipsy through the link below. Thanks for reading :)

April Favorites and Not So Favorites :)

Hey guys! Read on for my favorite and not so favorite products for the month of April and let me know what yours are :)

Favorites:

My first favorite product is the Monster Energy Zero Ultra in the white can. This has zero sugar, zero calories, zero fat, and zero carbs and tastes amazing! It tastes like sparkling grapefruit juice and was made for women so if you are looking for an energy drink that works without giving you a ton of jitters get your hands on this bad boy!

My next favorite products are 2 face primers! Face primers are great to help make your makeup last longer and give your face a smooth pore-less finish. The first Primer is from DHC and it is called  the DHC Velvet skin coat and it does give your skin a velvety soft finish and a little goes a long way.

The next primer is from Pixi and it is the Flawless and Pore less Primer and it can be picked up at Target! I received this sample in my February Ipsy bag and am still not through it! This stuff lasts forever so a full sized bottle will be worth the money. It gives my skin a nice even canvas without feeling greasy.

The Elf Lip Exfoliator is also a favorite for me this month. This is a lip product that I use every morning while putting on my makeup. It smells and tastes like warm vanilla sugar and has brown sugar in it to help exfoliate away dead skin. It is perfect to use before putting on lip color to help even out and make the color last longer.

My last favorite products are these gemstone necklaces I got at a gemstone convention. I am obsessed with stones and have been my whole life. Many stores and thrift shops sell jewelry made out of quartz and crystals so I think everyone should at least have one piece. They are always unique and a great conversation starter.

Not So Favorites:

The first product that I am not a fan of is the Fresh Body Dry Shampoo from Victoria's Secret. This stuff was $12 and overpriced in my opinion. It smells fine but made my hair feel greasy and chalky which I wasn't too fond of. It gave me great volume but I couldn't stand the feeling of it.

Next is a sample I received from Aquaphor and it is a Lip Protectant/Sunscreen with SPF 30. The reason I didn't like this was it was thick and tasted terrible! The three times I tried it I had to immediately take it off because of the taste. For a lip product I think they could have made it taste way better then it does.

Another UnFavorite of mine was the Caribbean Escape Candle form Bath and Body Works. I am convinced I got a dud because all of my other candles I have ever gotten from there have been amazing! This did smell good but when I put it on my candle warmer it only lasted a couple times before I wasn't able to smell it anymore.

My final not so favorite product is Allure.com. I as alot of other people had a major problem with purchasing the Summer 2013 Beauty Box. The link they sent out to everyone didn't work and many people weren't able to get a box because of that. I think they need to realize that many people are going to want to get the box so they should be better prepared. I also think that since the box is in limited quantities that people shouldn't be able to buy 5. I think 1 or 2 per person is enough but 5 is ridiculous an makes people miss out on the opportunity to buy it.

Sally Hansen Zero Bumps Bikini Spray. I am super duper excited to try this out for summer! This is a vanilla scented spray that sprays from all angles and reduces bumps and irritations and in grown hairs caused by shaving! Retail: $7.98

Self Tanning Products
TanTowel Original Self Tanning Towelette for Face and Body.  I am excited to try these out because I am curious to see how the towelettes work. There are 5 in the box and you need 2 to cover your whole body which makes me wonder why they didn't just include 6 in the box. I hope they don't smell too strong. Retail: Full Box of 10: $25.25

Neutrogena MicroMist Sunless Tanning Spray. This is another self tanner I am excited to try. It is in the shade Medium and gets your skin 2 shades darker! It sprays a continuous spray from all angles and doesn't need to be rubbed in which is really nice. It also only takes 2 hours to develop. Again I hope this doesn't have a strong spray. I do not have color treated hair but I will see if it still works for me. I don't see why it wouldn't. Retail: $20.49

Redken Extreme Anti Snap Leave in Treatment. This stuff DOES NOT smell nice. But it is supposed to be forumulated with protein to fortify the cuticle to reduce breakage and minimize split ends so I will definatly be trying it out. It also provides heat protection which is nice. Retail: $29.99

Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Hair Cream. This smells yummy! It is a cream that you scrunch through your hair to give you sexy, tousled waves with a matte finish for a real surfer girl look! You can also use it on damp hair and dry with a hair dryer for extra waves! Retail: $8
