July 2013 Favorites and Non Favorites!

July Favorites and Non Favorites!

Make sure to watch my video above!

Non Favorites:

Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray. I received this product in my July Ipsy Bag and it didn't impress me at all. It didn't work on my long thick hair and left behind a terrible sunscreen smell. These types of products usually don't work on my hair but the smell was awful.

L'OREAL Total Repair 5 Damage- Erasing Balm. I felt that this did not condition my hair as well as other deep conditioners. It didn't even condition my hair as well as my conditioner. Left it knotted and dry. I recommend Aussie 3 minute miracle.

Suave deodorant may be cheap but it doesn't work. It left my armpits feeling wet all day and I felt I could smell myself. I am not a sweaty or smelly person at all but this did not do the job. I don't recommend this especially during the summertime.

Favorites:

Samsung Galaxy S4. If you are looking to upgrade I highly recommend this phone. I chose this over the Iphone 5 and am super pleased with it. It is lightning fast, battery lasts days and the camera is amazing!!

Alloy Stunner Sandal in Nude. My sister has the brown and black also and loves them. These are great inexpensive sandals that go with everything! Pick them up in every color for that price!

Old Navy Printed- Twill Shorts in a Black and White Tribal Print. These are longer shorts and super comfortable! They have so many color options of shorts at Old Navy and I found them to be inexpensive. My sister has them in many colors!
Use code MYSTERY to save 25% online only! Expires July 29th 2013!

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration After Sun in Coconut Papaya. This stuff is amazing whether you have a sun burn or just got some sun. Smells great but not overpowering. I defiantly believe it helped moisturize and heal my sunburn quickly.

Bath and Body works Fragrance  Body wash, and Lotion in Pure Paradise. This stuff smells incredible for summer! Perfect mix of fruity and floral. Isn't overpowering. I highly recommend going in and smelling it for the full experience!

Let me know your favorite products for the month of July! I am always open to trying out new things :)

Ipsy Bag July Unbagging and Reviews :)

Ipsy Bag July Unbagging and Reviews :)

Check out like and subscribe to my unbagging video above!!

The first item in my bag was a POP Beauty Pouty Pop Crayon in the color Coral Crush. This glides on so smooth and the color is so pretty. It is creamy and lasts a while. I only own one other lip crayon and this one is way creamer than it.
I do recommend this product.
Retail Value: About $4.16.
Comes in a kit of 6 for $25

Next I received the BH Cosmetics California Collection Eyeshadow sample. This came withe 3 colors, a purple, brown and gold. I love these! I haven't used the purple yet but the brown and gold is beautiful for an everyday look. I put the brown all over and the gold on the outer and inner corners. These came from 3 separate pallets so I would definitely check them out.
I do recommend this product.
Not full sized.
Full sized Pallet retail: $7. So you can grab all 3.

Next up I got the Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray. I don't like this. It smells heavily like sunscreen to me and didn't do much for my hair. I do have really long heavy hair so that might be why. It might work for people with thinner hair but did nothing for me besides make it knotted.
I do not recommend this product.
Not full sized.
Full size retail value: $19.95
Get $5 off $25 below with code 108723

Next was Coola Mineral Face SPF 20 Unscented Moisturizer. This moisturized my face really well while protecting it form the sun. I have heard alot of great things about this brand. When I am done with my regular moisturizer I will go back to this one so I can use this tube up.
I do recommend this product.
Not full sized.
Full size retail value: $36.

The final item I pulled out was a nail polish from Nailtini in the color Mai Tai. This is a beautiful orangey coral. This did wear a little on the tips the first couple of days but I think its because I was in the pool all day. It hasn't chipped since I put it on and it has be 5 days.
I do recommend this product.
Retail Value: $13

Overall I enjoyed the variety of this months bag. I got a nail polish, makeup, hair item, lip product, and face product.

Total retail value of full sized items was around: $17.16.
A little low this month but I was still pleased with everything.

Ipsy is $10 a month and a fun subscription service!

July 2013 PopSugar Must Have Unboxing and Reviews!

July 2013 PopSugar Must Have Unboxing and Reviews!

Check out my Unboxing video above and make sure to give it a thumbs up to keep them coming!

The first item in my box is the Rose Double Curb Chain necklace from Bauble Bar. This is a BEAUTIFUL necklace and right on trend since it is a chunky chain and rose gold. I think this is a great investment piece and also comes in a velvet pouch that says Baublebar.
I do recommend this product.
Retail Value: $28

The next item is SuperGoop! SPF 30 Anti-Aging City Sunscreen Serum! This is a sunscreen that has anti aging properties. Since it is a serum it feels light on the skin without over moisturizing or getting greasy. I used this product on my recent trip to Put In Bay. Still got a bit burnt but we were on the water. This is an expensive sunscreen so I think it should be a higher SPF. It works but you can find other sunscreens for way cheaper.
I don't recommend this product unless you can afford it.
Retail Value: $42

Next was Mighty Leaf Iced Tea in the flavor Ginger Peach. I am not a big fan of iced tea but this was yummy! My mom made a pitcher and stuck bits of Peach in it for a nice refreshing summer drink. I like that the packets are big so instead of making a cup you can make a whole pitcher which is perfect for summer parties.
I do recommend this product.
Retail Value: $27

I then pulled out the Tovolo King Cube Ice Tray in Hot Pink. This is made of silicon which helps get the ice out easier and individually. The cubes are giant 2 inches by 2 inches. This will be great in my college freezer.
I do recommend this product.
Retail Value: $10.49

Then I got a nail polish from NCLA in the color AS IF! This polish is a dirty lilac color that is perfect for fall. It wore for 4 days without chips before I chanced it.
I do recommend this product.
Retail Value: $16
Buy HERE:

The final product I pulled out was HannahMax Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip All Natural Crunchy Cookie Chips. These were DELICIOUS! I want to get more! They were a nice snack and did taste like a cookie chip!
I do recommend this product.
Retail Value: $5.99

Ambition Box July 2013 Unboxing and Reviews

July 2013 Ambition Box!

Ambition Box is a monthly subscription box service that is $15 a month. It is a box that offers different types of products such as beauty and jewelry.

I did receive this product at a Blogger discounted price to review. It was supposed to contain 5 full sized items worth over $50 so I will let you know if this was true.

I did get 5 full sized items.

The first item in my box was a Lip Treatment from Celazome. This is supposed to diminish fine lines around the lips as well as plump them and provide moisture. The only problem I have with the product is the taste and smell. The first time I used it I had to immediately wipe it off because the taste was AWFUL! I then looked at reviews online and saw it works but you have to use a tiny amount. I did this the second time and while the taste isn't as bad the texture doesn't let your lips glide like other lip treatments. I don't particularly enjoy this product.
Retail Value: $38
Through the Ambition Box website it is on sale for $28!

The next item in my box was a bracelet from Satindoll. It is called the Orange Crush Braided Chain Bracelet. It is handcrafted and perfect for summer! Chunky chains are in so I enjoy layering this on my arm with all the other chains I own. I love the orange braiding as well. I looked on the website and they have a ton of really cute bracelets that I will definitely consider buying. Get 20% off with this code: AMB20. This expires July 31!
I couldn't find the exact bracelet I have but they have similar ones.
I do recommend this bracelet.
Retail Value: $21

Next up is a nail polish kit from Nailtiques. This set includes a clear Formula 2 bottle and a polish in a deep burgundy color with slight shimmer in the shade Milan. The Formula 2 treatment is supposed to help strengthen nails that are dry, weak, peeling, or bitten which is perfect because I do bite my nails and they aren't  looking to healthy lately. The nail color contains protein to help strengthen nails. The color Milan is PERFECT for fall so I won't be trying it out till then.
I recommend this set.
Retail value: $20

Next is a lanyard and ID holder that is covered int rainbow rhinestones. This is a great lanyard for someone who likes bling and colors. I will most likely be giving it to one of my sisters friends who is going off to college since I already own one.
I do recommend this product.
Retail value: $5.99
Comes in different colors.

The final product in my box is called Nikki's Magic Wand. It is a small tool that is used to dig out makeup or lotion from things that are running out. It is supposed to help you not waste makeup when you are getting down to the end and can't reach it. I haven't had a chance to use this product yet but it is different and interesting.
Retail value: $9.95

Overall I feel that Ambition Box offers a wide variety of products from unknown companies that allow the subscribers to try out many things they may not have gotten a chance to try.

Retail Value of Box: $94.94!

So this box was definitely worth over $50 like they promised!!

Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics Review!

Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics Review!

I received this product complimentary from Influenster for Testing Purposes.

Lets just start out by saying I LOVE THESE! They not only look cute in the hair but also on the wrist! I feel that they hold my long heavy hair all day without slipping out. I also feel like they don't break my hair like other pony tail holders do. They are inexpensive and come with many different colors. Below is a hairdo I love to do in the summer using these ribbons and even if they show through it is cute and looks like a ribbon is wound up in my hair.

Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream Routine and Review

Hey Guys! I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

This is the first BB cream that I have ever tried so I wanted to tell you guys the Pros and Cons of this particular one.

You can find the Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream at any major drugstore or grocery store and it retails for about $14.99

I received the lightest shade available. I put it on after my concealer and before my bronzer ( I don't wear foundation). It has a pleasant scent and is smooth to put on. The only bad thing about it is it doesn't provide enough coverage for me to wear on its own. I don't have alot to cover, just old acne scars, but this didn't really hide them. It did well for evening my skin tone however.

When I did the rest of my face makeup which included bronzer, and highlight it did make it last all day, stay smooth, and give it a smooth flawless look.

It also has SPF 15 in it so that is always a plus.

Overall I do recommend this product but I feel it works better as more of a primer or tinted moisturizer and could be improved by having a little more coverage.

Influenster Sunkissed Voxbox!

Make sure you watch the video above to see my Unboxing :)

The first item I received was the Olay Fresh Effect BB cream in the lightest shade. This is the first BB cream that I have ever gotten and I do enjoy this. It has a pleasant scent, isn't sticky and helps my makeup go on smooth and look flawless.
Retail: $14.99

Next I got a pack of Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics. This came 5 colors including: black, purple, gray, hot pink, and white. I love these! They look cute on the rest and I do feel like they don't  break or damage my hair as much. They also don't seem to slide out as easily and as often as other holders.
Retail: $3.99

Then I received the Dr. Scholl's for Her High Heel Insoles. I was super excited to get these and try them out because I am a MAJOR high heel wearer and they sometimes hurt my feet. I put these in my shoes and they did make some fit a little tighter but the shoes might just need broken in more. They are comfortable and seem to provide great support.
Retail: $11.99

The final item I pulled out was a nail polish  It is the new line from Sinful Colors called Sinful Shine and I got a classic red color called Picante. It is supposed to be shiny with out a top coat, which it was, and made with Gel Tech. This lasted 4 days without chipping before I changed it. It is also relatively in expensive
