The first thing I pulled out was the GlamRx pallet Now I heard this was custom made for Ipsy susbribers and I was super excited. I loved how the inside was a magnet so I could but my Yaby shadows inside and bobby pins and other things like safety pins. When I pulled it out it was a nice size but then I realized it looks very cheap up close! Literally the corners of it were crumpled and its made out of paper! Ipsy could have invested more to make it made of plastic but I will still use it. Since this is exclusively made it doesn't have a value but the code IPSY can be used at http://mygl.am/gr-313-glamrx-palette to get 20% off of a freestyle pallets.
Next up I pulled out La Fresh makeup remover towelettes There are 8 in the pack which would be good for a week long vacation. I just smelled them and they smell like baby wipes a bit but that's OK because I heard they make the face feel soft and smooth so I will pack these for my spring break trip. With the code of IPSY13 at lafreshgroup.com you can get 30% off. These retail for for $1.49 which is a bit disappointing since I paid $10 for my bag. But they will get use so not too much complaining.
Next I got 2 Yaby shadows. I got the color Seashell which is a sheer white shadow and Azalea Petal which is a dark maroon brown. I tried swatching Azalea Petal and honestly it was so sheer it was too much of a hassle. Seashell was sheer but a bit more pigmented and I will defiantly be using it for a highlighter under my eyebrows and at my inner eye. You can use the code Ipsyglam2013 at camerareadycosmetics.com for 25% off. These retail for $3.29 per eye shadow so that's $6.58 for the two.
Finally I got the Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist. This is a very good sample size and would last a while. I won't be using it as a toner only because I am on a strict routine with Proactiv but I will defiantly be using it in the summer when I am by the pool to cool off. I was scared to smell it because I hate floral scents and everyone said it was strong but to me it isn't too strong. I smells like real flowers unlike some sprays that smell fake and left my skin soft and not sticky at all. You can use the code. glam20 at juicebeauty.com/ipsy for 20% off $30 or more. This retails for $22 full sized.
Overall I hate to say it but this is my least favorite Ipsy bag I have ever received This is only my 3rd month so I am not canceling but I feel like these items could have been less ho hum everyday and more vava voom with cool things that people would be excited to try. I will most likely use the items except the Dark shadow. The GlamRX pallete was a disappointment because it feels very cheap. I grade this bag C+ and am hoping that next month (my birthday month) will be much better.
