Today I am reviewing a different type of product. This is an electronic pulse massager. It comes with the remote and 4 different sticky pads. The directions are very useful and straight forward. It has settings for sole, leg, waist etc so you know exactly where you should place it. The only 2 spots that you cannot put this massager is over your heart and your head.

To begin you put the sticky pads on your body. I did this on my feet as they were sore. I stuck them to the soles of my feet and used the sole mode on the massager. It then has a turn dial to turn up the pulses. I couldn't go past number 2 as it got uncomfortable. At 2 though it was comfortable. It pulses and my toes would twitch which was interesting. The session lasted 15 min. I did another just because but you shouldn't do more then 2.

My feet did feel less sore after and the next day.

My husband used this on his lower back and didn't think one pad was working. He turned it up and was uncomfortable so he put it back down to 2. He then said it felt great and worked just fine.

Because there are 2 separate ports for the sticky pads 2 people can use it 2 different ways.

Overall this is an interesting product. It is not a normal massager that you would think but makes an interesting twitchy feeling. My dad and mom use this for their shoulders and they both avoided surgery by using this product.

Cloud9 Blemish Control Moisturizer Review

I have blemish prone skin so I wanted to find a product I could apply at night to help my breakouts diminish. I wouldn't say that I break out often but when I do they are large and painful. I used this moisturizer at night, as it did not have any SPF, for a month. 

The smell of this product it terrible. I can't quite place it but it wasn't very pleasant. I also felt that it made my breakouts worse in the time that I used it so I quit using it after a month. It also didn't moisturize my skin very well.

Overall I would not recommend.

I have never tried or owned any luxury makeup so this was a real treat to get since I am not able to afford it at the moment.

YSL and Influenster send me 2 products that are new to YSL. One is full sized valued at $55 and the other is a great sample/travel size.

The first item is the full sized item and it is the Touche Eclat Blur Perfecter. This comes in a compact that is beautiful. It is gold and pink with the YSL logo on the front. It features a giant mirror inside, a leather puff and a velvet pouch to hold it all in. Talk about luxury! This product is nice because it can be used 3 different ways.

The first way is before applying your makeup. You take the puff and sweep the product over your entire face. This helps to diminish pores and shine and help makeup lay more smoothly. This product is also great because it transforms from a balm to a powder! Perfect for my oily skin. 

I have tried it this way a few times and it gives my skin that soft silicon feel that I like and a nice powder finish that decreases my unwanted shine.

The second way it can be used is to set your makeup. You take the puff and pat it on the areas that need it such as cheeks and forehead. You don't want to use the sweeping motion as this can wipe off and move your makeup.

I haven't used it in this way because I use it before makeup.

The final way it can be used is as an on the go touch up. Since it is in such a beautiful compact I can't wait to pull it out mid day to touch up! I just pat the product on my shiny areas which is usually my cheeks and the shine decreases and becomes soft and smooth.

I highly recommend this product if you can afford it. 

If you can't ELF makes a great dupe that I own called the Mattifying Balm. 

The next item was a sample of the Touche Eclat Blur Primer. This product is used before makeup application to prepare skin for foundation, minimize pores, smooth texture, even out skin tone, and add a glowy effect. 

This has tiny gold flecks in it that help the skin seem more radiant. I apply this all over my face before makeup and before the blur perfecter and pat it in with my fingers. 

I don't normally go for a glowy effect as I have oily skin but this product didn't make my skin any more oily throughout the day which was nice.

Other then that I didn't really notice anything spectacular. It worked like any other primer I have tried. I also don't understand how it can even skin tone if it is clear. 

I wouldn't recommend this product because of the price and because there are so many other primers on the market at a more inexpensive price range that do the exact same thing.

Since my wedding is approaching I wanted to start trying products to start diminishing my dark spots on my face. That is my biggest concern with m skin at the moment. The theme for this month was Swim into Beauty. The bag was black and made out of scuba like material and the zipper was hot coral. It was one of the bigger bags we have gotten.

The first item I received was the IT Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil. I have never tried anything from this brand because it is a bit more expensive so I was really excited to try this out. This type of eyebrow pencil with the spooley on the back is my go to way to fill in my eyebrows. This is cool because it works for all hair colors. I am not sure if it is full sized but i is a great size! I really like using this and it gives me great natural color!!

The next item I received was a sample size of the Smashbox Photofinish primer. I use primer everyday so I really wanted to try this out. I have heard great things about this primer. Unfortunately I didn't really like it. I felt like it made my skin more oily and my makeup didn't last as long. I do normally use a mattifying primer so this might be good if you have normal to dry skin. 

Next I pulled out Sheet Mask Trios from Bio Republic Skincare. I love face masks and the fact that we got 3 different ones to try out is fantastic! Ipsy counted this as 1 item which was also great! I have tried out 2 of the three and they are amazing! They are easy to put on, stay on and leave my skin glowing and soft feeling!

Next was a mini Formula X nailpolish in the color Powersource. This is a neon coral color which is perfect for the summer time. I applied this on my fingers and toes and it went on with just 1 coat! It stayed on my fingers for about a week which is long for me. I definitely want to try out more colors from this line. 

The final item I got was a Trestique mini shadow crayon in the color Marimoto Petal Pink. This eye shadow crayon is perfect to wear everyday on its own or to use as a base under lighter shadow colors. I tried it without priming my eyes and it did crease so make sure you wear a primer with it. I love the form that it comes in and its great for travel or to throw in your bag!

Fiber mascaras are all the rage at the moment. They are higher priced then most mascaras and the only drugstore one that I am aware of is from Physicians Formula. I have tried that one and hated it. Fiber mascaras are different from regular mascaras because they are 2 stepped and create a dramatic false lash effect. 

This one came in a sturdy black satin lined box that held the Magnifying Gel and the fibers. The fibers are the things that create the volume and length. This is a time consuming process so make sure you make time if you are going to do it.

First you have to apply the magnifying gel which is basically like regular mascara. Then while it is still wet you need to quickly apply the fibers then to seal it all apply the gel again and you are done. It says you can do this 2 or 3 more times but I just do one.

It is so amazing! The fibers don't fall out all my cheeks like the Physician's Formula one and it stays all day. It also looks like false lashes!!

Keshima Angled Contour / Blush Brush Review

I have been trying out different makeup looks lately. I have been really interested in wearing blush everyday. I see people that do and it just gives their skin this beautiful glow that I would love to get! I decided to try this Keshima blush/contour brush. I don't use it for contour as I don't contour. But I have been using it almost everyday for blush.

I like it because it has a slight angle so it doesn't overly pack the color on. The bristles are nice and sturdy but not so sturdy that they are too harsh.

Cleaning it is also a breeze and all the stains immediately comes out.

I HIGHLY recommend this brush for anyone's makeup collection.

I have pretty thick hair to begin with but since it is so long and heavy it sometimes doesn't look as voluminous as I would like. I began using this conditioner in hopes that it would help my hair look fuller especially when it is curled. I don't use it everytime I shower but just for special occasions as it really boosts the hair! Unlike traditional conditioners that you only put on your ends, this one is supposed to be massaged into the scalp and then put on the ends so it is an all over treatment. It has a very uplifting tea tree oil smell and leaves a sort of gritty texture on the hair that makes your hair more voluminous. The volume for me usually lasts until my next shower and sometimes even the shower after that. I wouldn't use it everytime because sometimes I don't want that gritty feeling on my hair. I recommend this for special occasions or if you have super fine hair that needs a boost daily.

Rid Tech Ultrasonic Pest Repeller Review

I don't have a pest problem in my apartment but an product that will rid my place of bugs and spiders can't hurt right? I plug this right next to my patio door because as it gets warmer I figured it would stop them from coming in. I am not sure how big the radis of this is to know how many you need in a room but I only had one. It is supposed to be silent to the human ear but I could hear mine and it was annoying so I unplugged it. It didn't make any noise when I first got it but now it does. It works by emitting a high frequency sound that repels pests but is safe for dogs and cats. I found a stink bug in my house a week into using it and put it next to the device and it didn't seem affected what's so ever. I would not recommend this product.
